Transportation of groupage shipments (LTL)
Transportation of groupage shipments (LTL) is a method of transporting cargo when the cargo of several customers is transported in one vehicle. Groupage shipments have a small volume and do not take up the entire transport space, therefore one vehicle is used to transport several loads. These shipments are collected directly from several different locations and are usually delivered to recipients without additional reloading.
JSC «EGT LT» recommends this method of transportation to its customers whose cargo is lighter than 500 kg or less than 10 cubic meters.
Every week JSC «EGT LT» collects groupage shipments directly or through partner terminals in all EU countries and delivers them to consignees in Lithuania or CIS countries.
The routes of our company stretch from Turkey, Spain, Portugal to the countries of the Far East and Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and others (upon request).
We can deliver the goods directly to the recipient – door-to-door service or to the customs terminal – the customs office is chosen by the customer.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods (ADR)
About 8 percent of all transported cargo is classified as dangerous cargo, and more than half of it – 58 percent – transported by road.
Dangerous goods are special in that they are subject to special transport requirements in order to eliminate or reduce the risks to people, the environment or property in the transport chain due to the specific nature of the goods.
The transportation of dangerous goods is a highly responsible process. JSC «EGT LT» offers personal ADR cargo transportation solutions, we will provide our customers with all the necessary information about the routes on which the transportation of dangerous goods is prohibited or recommended, we will prepare the necessary documents: vehicle documents, sender’s declaration, written instructions (or instructions in case of international transportation), we will consult on vehicle marking, vehicle safety equipment, cargo securing.
The classes of dangerous goods according to ADR are the following:
Class 1 Explosive substances and articles
Class 2 Gases, including compressed, liquified, and dissolved under pressure gases and vapors
Flammable gases (e.g. butane, propane, acetylene)
Non-flammable and non-toxic, likely to cause asphyxiation (e.g. nitrogen, CO2) or oxidisers (e.g. oxygen)

Transportation of overweight and oversized cargo
The transportation of overweight and oversized cargo is a complex process that requires special equipment, escort, permits, preliminary agreements and knowledge. Overweight and oversized cargo is a cargo whose dimensions or weight exceed the maximum permissible values established in the countries through which the oversized cargo is transported.
